Austin Creative Alliance Gives A Big Thank You to AC Hotel Hill Country and Austin Chamber
Together we Raised $6425 for Local Artists and Affordable arts spaces!
In November, AC Hotel Hill Country and Austin Chamber celebrated women in business and art with a memorable event featuring:
A Panel Conversation with some of Austin’s most influential women in business and art.
The unveiling of a stunning new Rooftop Bar Mural by local contemporary artist Mila Sketch.
A Silent Auction showcasing artwork from ACA’s network of talented local artists.
Thanks to the generous contributions of community partners like YETI, Austin Opera, and Kalahari, and the creative work of our local artists, this benefit raised an incredible $6,425! Of that total, $3,510 came from Silent Auction donations, with over 30% ($1,125) going directly to the artists whose pieces were sold. Each artist earned 50% of their artwork’s final sale price.
how ACA will use the funds raised:
$1,125 goes directly into the pockets of Artists whose artwork sold during the Silent Auction. Each artist earning 50% of what their artwork was sold for.
$5,300 will sustain ACA’s Affordable Arts Space Program, ensuring Austin’s creative community continues to have access to short and long-term studio spaces for and artistic projects.
This event is a testament to the power of collaboration and community. Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed, and supported this effort. Together, we are investing in a thriving future for Austin’s artists and creative spaces!
