Please endorse our effort to own our building

ACA occupies an historic former church just East of downtown. In addition to the sanctuary, built in 1916, the property includes a home and several separate rooms used as studios, offices and classrooms by a community of nine artists and three arts nonprofits. Two of the artists also live on site. The property’s owner would like to sell it to Austin Creative Alliance in order to keep the historic building intact, establish critically needed, permanently affordable live/work spaces for artists, and create a community centered arts venue for performances, rehearsals and classes. To help us achieve this vision, we need to show potential financial partners that we have strong community support. Please endorse our vision for affordable community arts space in Austin!
