    The Outreach and Advocacy Manager leads ACA’s community building and advocacy efforts using digital media, press relations, and events to reinforce ACA’s coordinating role in the arts, music and cultural ecosystem, market our services and keep our members informed of opportunities, activities and news related to their work.

    ACA is a 501-C-3 non-profit arts service organization in Austin, TX. Austin Creative Alliance advances, connects and advocates for Austin’s arts, cultural, and creative communities in order to strengthen and protect the character, quality of life, and economic prosperity of our region. ACA sponsors over one hundred emerging arts programs and has over 550 members representing a wide array of artistic disciplines.

    JOB POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    Manage Advocacy Task Force

    Produce and Manage Outreach Events

    Manage Communications and Social Media

    QUALIFICATIONS
    - experience in community organizing
    - understanding of City of Austin governance processes
    - has a creative practice
    - experience as a social media specialist and/or digital marketing
    - ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
    - strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills
